Tomorrow we are showing Puzzle Depot at the Seattle Indies Expo, a fantastic PAX-adjacent indie-focused event!
We've put together a special showcase level just for the occasion, made of 80% recycled materials. Here's a sneak peek:
Heads up, at long last the Steam page will be up within the next couple days! There will be a large official update at that point which I will also post here. There's quite a lot to talk about this time, including some upcoming events and conventions that Puzzle Depot will be part of!
We're still shooting for Q4 2024 for release!
First update of 2024, and it's a good one.

The short version is that we've updated the engine and overhauled just about every system for a lot of improvements. External testing is kicking off in the coming weeks and we are planning on wrapping up development this year.
There are also previews of some of the completed levels that are worth a look if you like some fresh n' juicy gifs!
(Also on my list is to give this page a fresh coat of paint!)
EDIT: Kickstarter is chewing up those animated gifs pretty bad, here's an album for better viewing! https://imgur.com/a/2SQuEMJ
Hey team,
Any news on Puzzle Depot? Haven't heard from you all in a while!
Thanks for checking in! I have another update in the works, I'm shooting to have that out before end of the month. I know it's been a long time coming. Currently we're wrapping up a new version of the game and completing the epilogue sequence for the campaign.
I'll have more news soon with the next update!
Any news on that?
Sorry for the delay, there is an update coming out this weekend (likely Sunday). It's a big one!
Hey Otto!
How's Puzzle Depot doing these days? I hope you can finish it one day. It's one of my favourite pushpuzz games I've ever played, really got me to appreciate the genre by making it a bit more accessible, while still being really challenging.
Hey, James!
I actually just finished up a new version of Puzzle Depot, the latest build includes endgame and epilogue content. We're definitely closing in, I have some backer content to finish up but the list grows shorter!
I know it's been a long while and I appreciate you checking in. I'd like to put together another Kickstarter update before much longer, I think we're about due for it. I'll be sure to update the itch.io page when that happens!
Awesome!
This game is great. The demo has a good length, the difficulty is perfect. Even the Graphic for this is nice. I enjoyed it andd recommend everybody to play this. I made a video about this games if someone is interested to watch it.
Thank you so much for playing the demo!
It's always fun to see someone's first reactions and thought process going through the puzzles. That's something we're really looking forward to when we release the full game.
I am glad, that i can play this game. :)
Excellent ! Will it get out of demo someday ?
It definitely will be emerging from its demo status once it's done pupating! :]
Testing has been going very well and we've made some pretty big steps recently. There's a new devlog up (mirrored from our latest KS update) with some fresh gifs to scope out in the meantime, while we continue pushing forward.
Thanks for checking in with us!
Just played the demo. Would love to see the rest of the game
came for tinker knight stayed for cool gameplay
So... This game is never coming out. Too bad, really could have been a nice one. 🤷♂️
We're behind where we said we'd be, but, progress is still being made. I have a big update in this works, including things like getting this page up to date, our Steam page set up, etc.
I'm sorry if I've let you down with delays, but I'm glad you're still interested in Puzzle Depot and I'll do my best to make it up to you.
Thanks for reaching out!
It made a great first impression, my comment from almost 4 years ago is still here. I won't say to hurry but the mechanics and controls were already really great (that's what really makes or brakes such games) and the story/content is something that always can look like needing "a little more" (polishing, details, etc) but that also means becoming stuck in limbo.
In any case, thanks for your reply, it's good to see it!
I simply loved this game, can't wait to the date release!!!
hope to see this game finished in 2018.
Hey keser-one, sorry it's been a while! I actually just made a quick KS update to check in: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1781334061/puzzle-depot/posts/2085854
Thanks for keeping an eye on Puzzle Depot, I know it's been a long wait. I'm confident that it will be worth it!
omg i am so proud and happy for you! you must be exhausted after this loooong road lmao.
ok i can still hold out a little bit more for it. still my day one.
Kickstarter Update #46: Progress Report
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1781334061/pu...
Things are really coming along! This update features our new Options menu, controller support, and improvements to the World Editor!
I went back and played through the entire demo again:
I still love this game so much, as i state in the video congrats are the successful funding for it ^_^
Kickstarter Update #45 is up!
Sorry that I missed a couple updates! This is a good one, though...
We are pleased to announce that Shovel Knight's own master schemer, Tinker Knight, will be appearing in Puzzle Depot as a playable character, courtesy of Yacht Club Games! We're really excited for this opportunity!
And if you haven't checked out Shovel Knight yet... you really should :]
Kickstarter Update #42 is up!
The Circuit Update
This one is all about the changes that "circuit objects" have undergone, such as buttons, plates, and doors. Things are far more versatile than they used to be!
Great graphics! Looking forward to the complete game!
Esta bueno, con una historia y atmósfera interesante dentro de una mecánica de puzzles clásica.
Aunque muy corto a mi parecer.
Just wanted to say thank you everyone who has played and commented, we appreciate your support!
Also, there is a new update on our Kickstarter page, in which I go into detail about the puzzle design process. If you're into that kind of thing, check it out!

I absolutely love it. Simple concept but awesome atmosphere and variatons.
The demo was great! Surprisingly addictive and with a great art style. Can't wait to buy the full product!
How can that simple box-pushing job escalates to something serious this quickly?! Oh I love this game!
I love the look of it. Reminds me a little of CLARC, Parcel, Full Bore and Toki Tori 2+. I hope you're planning on releasing it for Linux eventually.
It looks and plays great. Looking forward for realese.
Btw. it doesn't work with itch.io app.
